hey guys i have a gsr it should be pretty quick its got high comp(not shure of ratio but compression was around 220) pistons,walbero255,whalepenisintake, skunk2 2.5inch,hollow cat, header,aem fuel rail,type r cams, and possibly a skunk2 valvetrain(just goin of what the previous owner said)....its on a stock p72... i have a problm with the fan staying on and the car dosnt realy warm up..... it barly hits vtec(it eases in not like other ppls shit hits) it has exhaust leaks.... and i know i need a tune.... i got beat by a stock vr6 today and a stock ls was keeping up..... im wondering if my exhaust it to big, or if the oil dosnt thin enough for vtec to engage or if that stock map is whats makin it so slow...anytips would help thanx..............WHAT SIZE EXHAUST ARE YOU FAST ALLMOTER GUYS RUNNING?

i usually run 2 1/4 piping but 2 1/2 should be good on ur setup prblem could be ur ecu the maps are good but obiviously ur not runng stock also vtec wont turn on if engine is cold

9.5:1~11:1 compression: 210-275 psi per cylinder

yea but do they run cats??? and ill try and fix tat fan so it warms up.i hope its fast cuzz if not ima be mad i spent bank on the fuckin thing

yea i feel u bro i run high flow cats and im tellin u i had a stock 92 gsr with headers intake and exhaust beatin mustangs on the high way! also beatin 94 and up gsr's wit no prob i would choke my self if a ls kept up wit me in that setup lol

me 2 bro i was about to leave it on the highway and walk home haha...u know if you can tune a stock ecu without a chip? cuzz ifnot ima have them tune my p28 with the sst chip

yea stock mani with a spacer with noz ports but im not sprayin and whats iab's? haha i bet ill feel dumb when you tell me?

u can reflash it but its just better to get it chipped or if u want i kno a website that has a good price on chipped ecu's and u tell them ur setup and th'll tune it for that car

Fix the exhaust leaks, block off half of the radiator if you want and talk to dave and get a tune seb

lol idk i alredy have 4 ecus and only one honda lol i wana use eather the chipt p28,or the p72...i think ill hit up dave or manny for a street tune after i fix the fan problem... and fix my exhaust leaks
