Make sure to send your head to get a port and polish. That is the difference between revving clean or laboring up top.

I would personally send the head to be ported by endyn as well. Larry is NOT EFFING KIDDING that guy knows more about honda heads than most honda engineers.

good start for upgrades

i have these type r cams i wanna throw in my gsr how much of a difference will it make what kinda compression and is it worth it???

also would like to know i have a skunk2 im edelbrock tb dc header full catback walbro fuel pump no tune right now stock p72 ecu lightened 7lb flywheel and 6 puck clutch was wondering what kind of numbers i can get on a good tune with all these bolt ons? and also adding the type r cams??? lmk

I think you have the right idea, in my opinion you should upgrade your injectors to maybe 310 cc , get an aftermarket fuel rail and regulator. The part that concerns me is that you have a 7lbs flywheel . You ll loose alot with a flywheel that light. Go with a 9.5 - 12lbs flywheel. Also lubrication is important use royal purple full synthetic which is very good for your motor. Pepboy's sell s this oil for $8.00 a quart. p28 ecu very good also but all of this is just my opinion you can take it with a grain of salt.
