    Agreed at the end of the day getting the traction is really what decides how thigs play out... so suspension is key... don't get me wrong I love an all motor car...but a turbo car on low boost gives you the option to run with 268 HP or 368 hp depending on how you build it where an all motor car can't get a tune and gain that kind of hp.

    If hooking up is the only reason you feel all motor is better remeber we can turn the boost down and tighten the suspension and have the same results without all the head aches, problem is everyone thinks that when building a turbo car you should add as much boost as possible when it's not always needed. Everyone has been guilty of this once or twice( which is advice I should be taking ), my point is turbo is a little more versatile.

      do you turbo guys know what you have to do to get 268 hp all motor out of a b series????
      268-300 hp all motor = 500+hp turbo

        Actually if you go look at any pro nhra event you will see that the prostock cars run close to as fast as full blown 2 power adder cars. The v8 guys are running 6's in both allmotor and turbo classes.

        Were running 9's your running 8's with a few 7's in Import stuff. So it not really a wrap. They both are fast when paired with intellegent drivers and crew.

        Last i checked i was in the allmotor forum, just wanted to let the guys who are true to allmotor know that they can hang with the boosted car's if they want to.

          ************ i like my all motor gsr but i think imma go boost because im dying to hit 200 hp or more!!! i was thinking all motor but its not woring for me right now too much money lol ill do gsr on boost a 8 lbs and im straighty eighty

            all motor car is more reliable then a boosted car........sooo if u are driving everyday think about that!

              I honestly think there's something holding back turbo cars from being as fast or as "impressive" as they could be. Something someone hasn't though of yet because they are all using the same setups if you think about it. 4 into 1 turbo manifolds, intercooler placement, etc, everything is the same just with different levels of parts. There's no simple answer to this but a system of good ideas working together could break the barrier that seperates the two.

                    Yeah I know theres all motor Honda's running that quick but how much are they spending? When your talking like that, it comes down to how much money you spend, not which setup you like better, cause obviously you see turbo cars running 9's, 8's, 7's, and 6's. And yeah I know this is an all-motor forum but when your saying stuff like I smoked every turbo car I raced and put this motor in your daily and smoke everyone then don't think a few people aren't gonna have something to say. This arguement can go on forever, so everybody should just go with the setup they like better, but not talk any shti either.

                      I'm not so sure on that. When your reving to 10k all day, then stuff can go wrong too. If your babying your car then almost any setup will last. My boys daily was 500hp and he drove that thing all over his town for a year. This other guy I know has 500 hp and drives it all over NY and visits his girl in CT all the time with his car.

                        Dude its like the same amount of money for each. Those SFWD Turbo cars aren't bargain builds they're spending just as much.

                                Dude it was a freaking joke, I was telling him to tak afull blown drag car motor and put it in a stret car and go rac som boosted stret cars.. A JOKE..
                                And as far as what I said about my old car and motor back in 04 , it was all fact , it beat every turbo car it ever raced and it was 3rd fastest allmotor street car in the country at th time..
                                I never said any 1 way is better, i build more SPFD motors and turbo motors in general for customers than anyone else. I have tuned and build 300 all the way up to 800+ whp on boosted and 100 all th way up to 330 na. i lov them both..


                                I just did a guys 1.8 gsr who maid 452 whp at 15lbs of boost
                                I also just did an allmotr car 2.0 on 11.9 cr that made 238 whp on pump gas.

                                i just feel you shouldnt b going boosted if you dont even know how a motor works.
