My allmotor car smoked every turbo car it lined up against...Guess times are changin..Power doesnt mean anything if you can hook it up, it's just tire smoke..
Anyhow , here's a video of my car back in 04. It was only making 238 whp that day and Louis( Hybridkoop )was actually driving it.

True but all motor build can cost mad $$$. Stock engines with boost hold well over 300hp for half the money. Not all turbo cars spin like crazy out the hole, its all about setup and suspension. Anyway I don't mess around in the streets so I don't care if some fully built all motor car can hook better than I can.

My responce was to the guy about what he wanted. I dont race on the streets either. I race at the track. Where my allmotor car still killed every turbo car it lined up with.
I was just simply explaining why most lower powered allmotor cars go out and spank big hp turbo car's when they are in fact on the street like the guy wants(not me).

I agree that allmotor setups cost alot, but factor in how many times most CT guys who go turbo blow up before actually getting a solid running turbo car and you see it will have cost them the same in the end. Except they were having fun driving the allmot car while the other guys turbo car was in the shop.
Look man I have built allmotr and turbo setups forthe past 13 years and they are all expensive, but going either way, you will spend about the same in the end if you look back.

The crx was heavy, I did nothing at all to lighten it, just remove the rear plastic in the trunk area. It weighed 2080 with me in it and was making 238 whp then.
i eventually got 268whp out of it. i backed it up on 4 diffent dyno's too.

Then i built the 300whp motor but enede up selling my crx to a friend, so i met up with a guy and we set it up in a prostock car. All we got to do is some test passes with it though ,trying to get all the electronics to work. We ran a few tetst passes launching off the revlimiter at11k rpm. I beleive it whent 11.1 at 125mph. That car was super heavy 1880lbs, I never got around to doing all the lighnening on it before we did those test passes.
now i need to sell it. It would be sweet to put that motor in a streetcar like i built it for. In the crx it would have probably ran low 10's all dialed in.

I feel ya man. I was spankin' turbo cars too when I was allmotor. With boost our tq numbers are alot higher so thats why we are baking the tires, while you guys are hooking. If we can get that down, then I'm pretty sure it would be a wrap.
